Small Groups

Small Groups from January 2012 will be studying 1 Corinthians which, as they will be linked with the Sunday morning sermon, will enable us to move forward together as a church family.   

Our small groups usually meet on week days (Mon-Thurs) in the evenings although there is a group that also operates during the day for those that find this more practical, and there is a group specifically for internationals.

But why meet in small groups?

Jesus met with a small group and it provided him with the opportunity to "disciple" them. It was out of this first group that the Christian Church was effectively formed.

At NMBC small groups provide a format that can similarly help us to grow in our faith and wrestle with the challenges that life brings. Our small groups tend to take place in local homes and everyone is encouraged to participate.

It is a place where people can cultivate deeper relationships and support one another, to learn more about Christ and his claims, and how we might become more like him and share our faith with others.
