Seniors

We value the support, encouragement and wisdom that the senior members of our fellowship provide. We encourage everyone, whatever age, to become an active member of our church community. As a senior your experience can be invaluable to us all.

There are many activities that occur throughout a typical week, that as a senior you can become involved with.

Monday Lunch Plus

f you would like a tasty hot lunch and to meet with a friendly group of people in our lovely new Oak room, we meet each Monday afternoon from 12 until 3pm, start with coffee and chat and then enjoy lunch and a quiz, followed by a talk from a visiting speaker on a subject of interest and relevance.  Latest topics include Caring, Eyesight,  and a Project in Peru.  Next week we are expecting a speaker from the local Police.   We have also had outings, received visits from local school choirs and enjoyed Christmas lunch.

For those less mobile, we can arrange to collect and return people that require this assistance. We have a full and busy diary with many events and outings organised throughout the year.
