About Us - Our Values & Vision

You are assured of a warm welcome at NMBC.  The age range of our congregation runs from 0 to over 80.

We want to provide comfort and encouragement to all who come to us but also to bring a challenge to our personal lives. In other words, to be our best for God and to embrace the radical discipleship to which Jesus calls us.

Individually we are all at different stages.  We have our share of problems, disappointments and illnesses but it is in these weaknesses that we find Jesus to be our strength.  And we are sure that this life is not all there is and that the best is yet to come. This is why we are keen to tell people about Jesus and why we run Alpha courses.

Regarding our services, you will find that the tempo is sometimes up-beat, sometimes quiet and reflective, with a small group of musicians and singers.  We stick to the Bible as our authority, combining old hymns with new worship songs, and embrace the New Testament picture of the Church where the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit can be used.
